Here is ours for 2009. We went out on Sun to find it in the bush not too far from the house. The tree farm where we went was fun, but boy was it brisk. Although there is no snow on the ground yet, I'm sure it'll be here very soon. Hopefully in time to cover up the grass for Christmas morning. There is something to be said for REAL Christmas trees. The photos really do it no justice, but I must say-it is beautiful. Logan calls it "pretty tree". We put the decorations on it last night and this morning Logan was sooo very disapointed that there were no more ornaments to be hung. Let's just say he had a moment.
Logan seemed to really like this spot on the tree. The poor branch is doing overtime with trying to keep these three balls from falling off.
He really liked these one of a kind pick up truck, glass ornaments that we bought in Niagara on the Lake a few years back.
and my "antique" rocking horse ornament. My mom made this and several other dough ornaments in '84 I believe. I can remember helping with them. They're getting a bit soft and I'm not sure that they'll make it another year.
Here we are. The tree looks like a tooth pick all wrapped up like that.
We found it mom. Isn't it just perfect!!!
Up against all of the other trees it appeared a bit fuller than once we cut it and held it up on it's own. It looks just fine though with the decorations and lights. Magical actually.
There was a giant fire pit going which was very smoky, and some Christmas music playing. They had hot dogs, hot chocolate and marshmallows to roast if you liked. We passed on it this year as it was almost time for Logan's nap-next year.
We did enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride though, through the property.
Hmmm where is it???
Waiting patiently for the wagon to start moving.
