On Logan's Birthday we went to Bruce's Mill with his buddy Matthew for some pony rides, pancakes, wagon rides, exploring, syrup tasting...
and we ran into Logan's buddy Liam!

Logan's birthday fell on a Friday, so I made some cupcakes for him to take in on Thursday(St. Patty's Day) to share with his friends, because he doesn't go in on Fridays. I made Oscar the Grouch and Cookie monster.

A Friday night in the backyard.
Logan started skating in Oct. We took him on fridays for parent and tot free skates. The first hour he couldn't even stand, but by the last five minutes he could. The next week he could stand , and by the end he shuffled his feet on the ice with his skates. The third week we took him he was still shuffling....we didn't go in November because we were too busy. December was crazy as well. Chris decided to make a rink in the backyard mid December but we really didn't get to use it until January. Logan has been out on it almost twice a day, sometimes more if he can convince us. This kid LOVES to skate and play hockey. We took him to a public skate at the big indoor rink here, and people were asking "how old is he?" When we told them he would be turning three in March, they told us we needed to bronze his skates. HA! There is no stopping this kid. He likes to move on the ice.
