Logan

Logan about to take his Cozy Coupe for a spin around the living room. He loved it so much at the indoor playground that when we saw them on sale, we got one for home. He plays with it daily, and sometimes just hangs out inside it turning the wheel, and sitting with his legs out the side, and one arm out the window, like a cool dude.

Trying desperately to get them all into one hand. He does this often now with things.

Enjoying Aunt Alli's old toys from when she was a little girl. Thanks for bringing them over Grandma!

Having a "chat" with Miles.
Checking out baby Keira.

Taking Miles for a ride in his Tonka Truck.

Meet Iggle Piggle

Logan likes to watch a show called In The Night Garden. One of the main characters is Iggle Piggle, and he seems to be Logan's favorite character. The show is a bit strange to say the least, but apparently it is THE show, and all the kids are watching it. Aunt Jen warned us, and she was right. Logan's buddy Pierce who lives next door got him this Iggle Piggle for his birthday. He sings and makes noises if you push his belly.

Check him out everybody!!

Taking off with Iggle Piggle.

13 months.

Watching the other kids play.
Logan and mommy get covered in stickers.

The basket that he made(ECE's) at school, and painted himself. The Easter bunny gave them each a few goodies.

Logan and I spent a morning at an indoor playground. This was his first time in the balls.

Another month has come and gone. I can't believe he's now 13 months. He will be starting "school"(daycare) on Wed. I will be going back to work for 3 days/week. He has been going now for about a month and a half, one day a week. At first it was just for two hours, and gradually his one day has gotten longer and longer, to include, outdoor time, circle time, lunch, nap, snack, outdoor time...you get the idea. Two weeks ago the Easter bunny came to visit them at school, and he made a basket out of popsicle sticks(help from the ECE's), and then he did the paint job on it. I was surprised when I saw it. Next week is picture day......can you believe it. i thought that didn't happen until public school.

N-O-T-L cont'd

Logan was fortunate to celebrate his birthday yet again with Grandma and Grandpa. They spoiled him with clothing and toys. What a lucky boy he is. He loved to visit their house and explore, since the last time he was there he was just crawling.

Checking out the loon.
Testing out his new lawnmower from Grandpa and Grandma.

LOVING his new toy.

Hmmm, how many remotes can I fit in one hand?

Blowing out his birthday candle with Daddy.

Niagara-On-The-Lake

We went on Easter Sunday to visit Grandma and Grandpa, in N-O-T-L. We went for a nice long walk into town and walked by a house that Chris and Grumpa installed carpet in the week before. We also walked to the hospital to visit with papa Al. He was happy to see us, and commented on how much bigger Logan was since November, when he last saw him. They are 99.5 years apart. Al turned 100 in November. At the beginning of our walk we stopped by to visit with the horses that are almost in their backyard, and feed them some apples and carrots. Chris was a little apprehensive, as he doesn't like anything that big with a mind of it's own, so I took over with feeding and petting the horses with Logan, after I took a few pic's.

Grandma fed the horses some apples.

Hmmm, who will get the last of it??

Easter weekend cont'd

Logan ACTUALLY picked up the eggs and put them into his basket. I was AMAZED! I thought for sure he would try to eat them right away, but that didn't come until a few minutes later. The expression on his face when he saw the eggs lined up was PRICELESS. He was soooooo excited. I have it all on video camera.
Making sure he gets as many eggs as he can into each hand, before putting them into the basket.

Putting them into his basket.

The Easter Bunny visits Logan.

Wow, he got lucky. Daddy helped him with all of the chocolate(mommy had one or two herself), and he LOVES his new sippy cup that works with a straw. He actually walks around the house with it drinking his water through the straw all day. The first night after he finished off his entire sippy cup full of water........he soaked through his diaper and we had to change his sleeper in the middle of the night. I learned my lesson. No sippy cup after dinner.

There was a trail of eggs leading from Logan and Daddy's room, out through the living room and over to a few gifts.

Yummy, Hershey kisses with almonds. What a way to start the "hunt". Actually I didn't hide any of them because I was afraid that Logan would find one that I had forgotten about, so it was just a trail.

For Logan and Daddy. It's a good thing that Logan loves to brush his teeth.

The trail leading up to the gifts. Don't mind the mess of toys.

The big boys got lucky......

Easter 2009!!

Kate, Derek and the boys came over on good friday. The Easter Bunny had come a bit early we noticed, so the boys hunted through the backyard for some easter eggs.

Dylan takes a turn at making some bubbles.......clearly he's a pro!

Logan enjoyed watching the bubbles float through the air.

Daddy makes Logan some bubbles before the older kids destroyed them.

Ohhh there's ssome under the cedar tree.

Pinecones!!!!!!

Logan discovered thousands of mini pinecones, which had fallen over the winter. He decided to try and taste one........of course.....'cause that's what he does. Logan loves being outside exploring.
