First step!!!!!!
So today Logan took his first step on his own. We bought him a walker for Christmas and he really enjoys motoring around the house with it. Tonight as he was walking around with it, he let go and stepped towards Chris. Oh boy!!

Christams 2008!!
Logan was very spoiled on his first Christmas. He received many gifts from Santa, Mommy and Daddy, all the Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and family friends. I took some pictures and will post them soon.
We traveled alot over Christmas and boxing day, starting on the 23 of Dec. We think because of all the excitment Logan's schedule turned into not much of a schedule. We also think it may have had to do with some new teeth coming in on the top. We have yet to see the teeth, but we're pretty sure they're almost through the gums.

Click, Click, Click
Over our holidays we were fortunate enough to be able to go up to the cottage in Meaford for the week after Christmas. Somehow Logan managed to figure out how to click his tongue off the roof of his mouth. He now loves to make this sound with his tongue. It's really cute, when he gets sooooo much suction up there that he almost can't get his tongue off the roof of his mouth. We can just see him opening wider and wider to try and release it. Another noise that Logan loves to make recently is what we call motor boat. Logan lets the air out of his mouth, and his lips flap together. He will do this as he plays with his toys.
Logan calls 911!!!??? on Christmas Eve!!
So on Christmas eve, as I was wrapping gifts and Chris was downstairs, Mr. Logan got his little fingers onto the cordless phone, and dialed 911. Somehow he managed to find the phone, and then I guess he was playing with the keypad, as it lights up. All of a sudden I could hear the phone dialing and then ringing......so I run over to see who Logan has called. I figured it would've been long distance at least, like his last phone call, but no. I pick the phone up out of Logan's hand, and look at the screen. 9-1-1-6. Those were the numbers he dialed. Immediately I push the off button, and yell down to Chris that Logan just called 911. Two seconds later the phone rings. I pick up and say "Hello?" and hear back "Yes, this is 911 dispatch calling. we just received a call from this number. Is everything ok?" I chuckle and say "Yes, thank-you. Everything is fine. That was my 9 month old son." So the lady continues to ask some questions, and then says "Well, since the call was made, we still have to send someone out to your house to check things" One hour later, the doorbell rings........and there was the police officer they sent. Logan just smiled!!! I can only imagine what the neighbours were thinking when they say a cop car in our driveway???
