Jelyll Island 4
It's November already ?!??
Wow mommy has been slacking!!! No not really but I can't believe that Christmas is less than one month away already.
We have been very busy in the last month, so I will try to fill you all in with some recent pic's.
For starters, we were invited to go down to Jekyll Island in Georgia, with Grandma and Grandpa. We spent 5 nights and 4 days exploring the Island and the area around it. It is a beautiful place, and we were fortunate to have our very own tour guides.....Dale and John. They are fortunate enough to go down with their camper every November for the nice weather, beautiful beaches, paved bike paths....etc. So this year we joined them.
We stayed in a nice Hotel not far from the campground, and had a perfect view of the ocean courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa. We got to see the sunrise every single day as Logan was waking up at 5-5:30 am each morning. It's amazing what you can get accomplished (or not) when you wake up so early in the morning.
We were able to take nice long walks on the beach and around the Island, which always seemed to work out perfectly with Logan's napping schedule. He still loves to be moving when it's nap time.
The car ride was long but Logan was a trooper the whole time, and thanks Jen for the Einstein videos as I'm really not sure what we would've done without them.
We stopped in Grove City, Pennsylvania both ways, and I was able to do some Christmas shopping and buy Logan's summer clothes for next summer(I'm still crossing my fingers that he'll be in 18 months then, but seriously you can't go wrong with $0.99 cents t-shirts, and $3.99 shorts. I just couldn't resist)
Well that was the most major thing that we've been up to since Oct, although I should mention that Logan is almost running now.....NO not really, but it would appear like it might happen any day now. Yesterday he pulled himself up with the dresser in our entryway and he can reach the knob on the bottom drawer, so of course I just sat there watching him try to open the drawer. When I called his name, he just turned around to look at me as though he was doing nothing...we're in for trouble here.
Ok enough chit chat, I will post some pic's now.
