10 weeks old!!!
Logan is now ten weeks old. We were able to take him in for some portrait pictures. Although Logan is very good at lifting his head, he wanted no part of it on picture day. All he wanted to do was lay down and suck on his hand. Logan is smiling more and more everyday, and just yesterday I thought I heard a giggle. I can't wait for continuous giggles. Logan is now sleeping in his crib, and we've removed the bassinet and changed his stroller into the seat mode. He loves looking out while we are out walking. Yesterday we took an hour long walk in a park, in the Oak Ridges Moraine with some other moms and babies. Logan and I have started a strollerfit bootcamp one day a week, and we have found some other moms and babies in york region to go walking with regularly.

8 Weeks Old!
Well Logan is 8 weeks old now. We had him in for his checkup this week, and he already weighs 12 lbs. I cannot believe that we've had him for 8 weeks already. The days are flying by. Although it is tiring sometimes, it is all worth it. He is a good baby. He is fairly easy to calm down when he is upset, and it is usually due to one of the typical reasons hungry, wet, dirty, gas, or tired. Once we get through the list of possibilities, and discover what the problem is, all is good.
I have joined a moms walking group, and plan to join a strollersculpt class, as well as a salsa babies(dance with baby in carrier to salsa music)class, when the next sessions start. It is nice to be able to get out with the nice weather, and I am very thankful that we had a spring baby. This coming week I will be starting soccer again for the summer season. I can't even imagine the pain I'm going to be in, as I've been very inactive over the winter.
Chris has just started his summer season of hockey with the boys. He is working very hard up at the cottage, trying to get things in order for the summer months. When we're not up at the cottage, he is working hard down in the city. It's been nice to go with him to the cottage, and poke ours heads in to see what he's accomplished as the day progresses. The addition at the cottage is almost complete, so it will be nice to go up and just hang out again.

Hanging out with Grumpa!!!
Last week my mom went to get her hair done, so I got to spend the afternoon with Grumpa. He fed me and then rocked me to sleep. I was very good for him. He even let me go for a ride in my "magic" swing. I love that swing.
I also got to hang out with Grumpa at his house last week, after mommy took me in to show me off to her co-workers. I was really good that day, everyone said so. Grumpa put my rattle on my arm, and I made noise with it for at least an hour on the floor. It was alot of fun!!
Mother's Day!!
We spent mother's day at Grandma Lou's place, and they took me for a ride in grandma's pram. It was soo nice and bouncy, I fell asleep right away. Apparently mommy and my Aunts and Uncle all did the same when Grandma Lou pushed them in it too, many many years ago. Mommy likes to call it the "Cadillac", and she can't believe that anyone would actually buy one(Nicole Ritchie has one). One thing is for sure Grandma Lou was glad to have it out to use again.

Another visit to the park
Smiles are the best!!!!!
Well this past week Logan(6 weeks now) has started smiling, and they are wonderful to see. Chris discovered them first when he was getting Logan ready for bed, after an evening of crankiness. He called me in and we both just sat back and watched smile after smile. Although we did not get the 'first' smile I have managed to get a few pic's of his smiles and will post.
